Who Are We?

RICHARD NAHAS MD

President

Dr Richard Nahas is an MD who has practiced integrative medicine for over 20 years, including research, teaching and advocacy in Canada and the US. He is developing a portfolio of innovate wellness services as the founder of the Seekers Wellness Group, and has dedicated his career to creating awareness and generating scientific evidence that confirms the key role of interference fields, acting as blockages, as the most important treatable root cause of human illness, and to promoting blockage-based care as a major advance in the history of medicine.

More About Richard
After earning his medical degree from the University of Toronto and practicing emergency medicine until the 2003 SARS outbreak, Dr. Nahas spent two years travelling internationally to study traditional healing systems and learn from practitioners across diverse medical disciplines. This experience shaped his integrative approach to patient care and led him to recognize interference fields as a potentially important, yet underrecognized, contributor to human illness.

Dr. Nahas has embraced neural therapy as a principal method for identifying and treating interference fields and is developing clinical tools and research initiatives to better evaluate their role in health and disease. He currently serves as President of the North American Association of Neural Therapy (NAANT) and maintains clinical practices in New York and Canada.

Driven by a desire to deepen his understanding, Dr. Gurevich organized NT training courses in New York featuring advanced European practitioners. These courses have been instrumental in educating many US and Canadian practitioners.

Dr. Gurevich co-organized two international NT symposiums, which received enthusiastic acclaim. He was also a key founding member of the North American Academy of Neural Therapy (NAANT). Remarkably, he remains the only psychiatrist in the US practicing NT.

Dr. Gurevich has developed Trauma Resolution Therapy, which integrates NT with guided imagery, EMDR, and other techniques to effectively treat conditions such as PTSD, depression, bipolar disorder, anxiety, anorexia, and more.

As a member of the NAANT Board, Dr. Gurevich is dedicated to expanding the education and practice of NT in North America, fostering international collaboration, and initiating research on NT in treating psychiatric conditions.
